Al desarrollar la conciencia fonol\u00f3gica los ni\u00f1os descubren que las palabras orales\u00a0est\u00e1n formadas por s\u00edlabas y por sonidos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os\u00a0(fonemas). Es as\u00ed como pueden comenzar a identificar y manipular estos sonidos, y finalmente asociarlos a s\u00edmbolos (letras).
